Meet the Providers Behind Brockton Pediatrics, Inc.
Howard H. Kay, MD
Dr. Kay has been practicing at Brockton Pediatrics, Inc. since 1979. He graduated from Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and Harvard Medical School and completed his internship and residency in pediatrics at Yale New Haven Hospital in New Haven, CT.
Personal Life
Dr. Kay and his wife Barbara have two sons—Jeremy, an attorney, and Andy, a health care manager, as well as four grandchildren and four dogs. He and his family have a lifelong interest in health and fitness, with Dr. Kay having completed the Boston Marathon eight times.
Britt L. Peña, MD
Dr. Peña completed her undergraduate studies at Wellesley College, receiving her major in psychology. During college, she also studied for a year at Stockholm University in Sweden. Dr. Peña also attended Tufts University School of Medicine and then moved to Texas for her pediatric residency at Texas Children’s Hospital - Baylor College of Medicine and Ben Taub Hospital. She was selected to stay for a fourth year to be chief resident and then returned home to New England.
Personal Life
Dr. Peña is married and has one child. She is an avid dog lover and enjoys reading, cooking, singing, gardening, and spending time with her family and friends.
Jules Rako, MD
Dr. Jules Rako, MD is a Pediatrics Specialist in Brockton, MA and has over 60 years of experience in the medical field. He graduated from University Of Cincinnati College Of Medicine medical school in 1962.
Maryanne Ladd, CPNP
Maryanne received her Bachelor of Science degree at Northeastern University and her Master of Science at Boston College. She spent many years at Signature Healthcare Brockton Hospital as a pediatric nurse practitioner before coming to Brockton Pediatrics, Inc. in 1997.
Personal Life
She is married has two adult children and five grandchildren. Maryanne and her family have three horses and share many other pets. She enjoys being active and traveling.
Caitlyn Belcher (Almeida), FNP-BC
Caitlyn completed her undergraduate degree in Nursing at Fitchburg State University and began her nursing career at Massachusetts General Hospital. She then furthered her career by becoming a Family Nurse Practitioner through Simmons University in Boston. She has worked around the South Shore area for about 3 years before coming home to Brockton Pediatrics.
Personal Life
Caitlyn enjoys time spent with family, friends, and her Dalmatian dog Bella. She is an avid dog lover and loves spending her time crafting and being outdoors.
Jessica Gatto PNP
Jessica graduated from Wellsley college in Biology. She then went to MGH IHP and got her Masters in nursing. She then got her DNP from UMASS Boston. She previously worked in Rhode Island as a Nurse Practitioner before coming back to Massachusetts. She has been practicing as a Nurse Practitioner since 2012.
Personal Life
Jessica enjoys time spent with family, friends, her son, and two cats. She loves gardening and making jewelry.
